Daffodils

These photos show just some of the lots and lots of daffodils I've seen over the last few days. I love these flowers. After a long brown winter without any colour, these brilliant yellow flowers pop open all around us. It's a lovely welcome into Spring, and a hint of the growth and colour that's on the way.

Daffodils cheer me on, they're unapologetically bright and bold. The countryside around us is waking up; hedges are turning green and little colourful flowers are poking up out of the grass on the lawn. Daffodils are my favourite.
