I was at home last week taking care of the animals whilst my parents were away. I spent the weekend sitting below the fruit trees in glorious sunshine watching the hens potter about the garden. They can enjoy complete freedom in the garden if under careful supervision from myself and Oscar, who I hope is a threatening deterrent to foxes. We bought the chicks a year ago so on the 13th June they turned 1yr old. I can’t believe how grown up they are. Here are some photos of them when they arrived as babies.
